Partners: How Starbucks Baristas Started a Revolution w/ Q&A (Fundraiser/Movie Screening)

Eugene-Springfield DSA is excited to partner with Working Films to bring this free screening to the Art House during the peak of the Starbucks Workers United holiday season strike. After the showing, please stick around for a panel, Q&A, and discussion about the film with local Starbucks Workers United baristas. Donations toward their strike fund are strongly encouraged.
Partners: How Starbucks Baristas Started a Revolution is a story about how a group of baristas in Buffalo, New York, announced their intention to form a labor union, and how Starbucks responded with an elaborate and illegal anti-union campaign. Four years ago, on December 9th, the workers at the Buffalo location officially voted to unionize. Featuring on-the-ground footage from workers and organizers, Partners takes us to the front lines of the historic union campaign that catalyzed America’s Gen Z labor revival.
