SUMMARY:DAY WITHOUT AN IMMIGRANT PICKETS
DESCRIPTION:DAY WITHOUT AN IMMIGRANT || DIA SIN UN INMIGRANTE\n\n\nWe have gotten to a new and critical phase of Trump’s mass deportation campaign\, which has had devastating impacts on farmworkers\, and Latinx working families of Oregon. Especially in cities across Oregon\, and the country with high density Latina/o/e and immigrant communities. Major ICE incidents have happened over the last month in Oregon. Over 500 people were detained by ICE In the month of October. \nPCUN is calling for a series of general strikes that center and empower immigrant workers in a time when many fear to leave their homes. We ask for your solidarity in joining us in standing with farmworkers\, and immigrant workers across the state. \nPlease join the fight and endorse A Day Without An Immigrant. PCUN and local allied organizations well be organizing actions/pickets one day per month from now until May Day to our labor. No work. No school. No spending. \nSet dates are listed below\, Locations and times for pickets/actions are TBD\, calendar entries will be updated prior to each event as we are updated on locations. \n\nMay 1\, 2026  International Workers Day
