EssnAlert -- An e-mail list for labor movement solidarity work

The Eugene-Springfield Solidarity Network/Jobs with Justice (ESSN) is a coalition of labor unions, religious congregations, and community organizations formed to support the civil and economic rights of all working people--especially the right to a decent standard of living, the right to a stable job, and the right to organize. Individuals who do not represent any organizations are also active in ESSN. ESSN is part of Jobs with Justice, a national network of more than forty local coalitions that bring together over 1,500 labor unions, faith groups, community organizations and student activists to fight for working people. The essnalert e-mail list is for people who wish to receive fewer e-mail messages than we send to our essnactivist e-mail list. We try to send out maybe four to six messages per month. We have designed the essnalert list so that only the moderators should be sending messages to the list. Using EssnAlert
To post a message to all the list members, send email to essnalert@solidaritynetwork.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to EssnAlert
Subscribe to EssnAlert by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
